Billericay & District Angling Club Waters

Here are our waters currently available to members. Fuller details including directions, car parking arrangements, fishery by-laws and times of fishing, appear in the Club Handbook you will receive.
At the end of each location, we describe accessibility and terrain, to assist the less mobile members to decide whether the water would be suitable.

RIVER RODING, Patch Park, Abridge

About a mile of river bank, with  good chub, tench, perch and roach, and the occasional carp.
Chub 5lbs, roach 1.5 lbs, perch 3lbs, carp 11lbs.
Parking by river, then reasonable banks, with footbridge to upstream swims.

 

FISHERY RULES

  1. Plenty of parking on the the roadside near the footbridge and limited parking opposite the cottage.
  2. Do not cause any obstruction to entrance to gates
  3. Do not cut across the fields but keep to the riverbank
